History Of Century Next Bank
Century Next Bank is a financial institution that was established on January 1, 1905, originally named Ruston Building and Loan Association. Over the years, the bank underwent several organizational changes and name modifications. On February 22, 2005, it changed its name to Bank of Ruston and transitioned to a mutual savings bank under the supervision of the Office of Thrift Supervision. Subsequently, on September 30, 2010, it adopted the structure of a stock savings bank and changed its primary federal regulatory agency to The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency on July 21, 2011. In 2018, the bank acquired First National Bank of Crossett, located in Crossett, Arkansas, on November 1. The institution underwent its most recent name change to Century Next Bank on January 15, 2019. Throughout its history, the bank has moved its main office multiple times, with significant relocations occurring in May 2000 and September 2002 to its current address at 505 North Vienna Street in Ruston, Louisiana.
