Erin Holliday has worked hard to build the perfect life: beautiful house, safe neighborhood, trusted friends. But everything she cherishes is threatened when the new neighbor moves in. Her head tells her to keep her distance, but her heart has other plans.
Ex-Navy SEAL John Ryman has spent his whole career surrounded by danger. Now he’s ready to settle down, and a quiet suburban life will suit him just fine, if his gorgeous new neighbor is any indication.

MLK Jr Day of Service Volunteers Help Bell’s Next Door Program
Thanks to a grant from the PepsiCo Foundation (read more here), Bell’s NextDoor program is able to provide emergency food provisions to local families. NextDoor program participants receive case management support, which may include rental assistance and connections to other important resources, as they are navigating imminent eviction or existing homelessness.
The grant allows us to purchase food and gift cards to help program participants bridge the gap when they’re in a crisis situation. Food is assembled into individual meal kits to help individuals and families get by while other resources are put in place to return them to stable housing.
On Monday, January 15, 2024, volunteers from York’s Youth Development Center came out as part of a MLK, Jr. Day service project to help put together kits.

I liked that the relationship was already established when we meet them. Ada the artist from a lower socioeconomic area in Leeds, England, is living with her lover and partner, Louisa, a wealthy woman whose father had recently passed on. They are living in Louisa's house for a year now, and sharing a bed.

There are various issues surrounding England in 1912. Such as the suffragette movement, votes for women, classism, patriarchal backward ideologies, especially against wives and mistresses of philandering husbands. There's also discussions on the death penalty, true justice and the law and it's victims a
