The program of this coming OctoberDANCE Festival will include dance competition in solo and ensemble categories in various styles, Masterclasses with distinguished professionals, and a Gala of the Winners (with the soloists and ensembles who at the competition scored high enough to receive “Gold” or “Platinum” level distinction.)
OctoberDANCE Festival is meant to serve as a vehicle for young dancers to show their skill and talent. Equally as important, sharing rich ethnic traditions and cultural heritage of our communities is one of the goals the Festival organizers.
In addition to great performance and learning opportunities for dancers there are also incentives for the studio owners, Artistic Directors, instructors, and choreographers of the participating dance studios and groups, including:
A great opportunity to present in public your choreography, instructor’s teaching style, and quality of training at your studio, or showcase a specific performing group.
A venue to polish choreography routines before other upcoming competitions and recitals.
Another deadline that stimulates your soloists and ensembles to learn new choreography, acquire new techniques and skills – all
